Board Update
The Ktizo Board is working hard on our mission plan and is targeting to have everything in place in the next few weeks. The mission plan will include:
- Bylaws
- 200 Blocks Geography and Plan
- Community Partnership Outline
- Worship Plan
- Progams Plan
- Growth and Funding Strategies
- Long-Term Vision
The board transition is scheduled for the end of July. We will expland our board to 9 members, which will open an opportunity for at least 4 new director positions. Five existing members will stay on to ensure that the transition is seamless. A nominating committee will be formed soon.
Jim Dennis’ farmers market proposal has been approved to move forward. He will form an exploratory team to develop the impementation details for final approval.
In recognition of their service to our community and church, the board voted unanimously to extend Shirley and Floyd Ferner membership as the first charter members of Ktizo.
Open membership and charter date will be announced upon completion of our mission plan. Joe Dauer, Chair, Interim Board Chair
Location search update
We are currently negotiating with a United Church of Christ to arrange a more permanent worship/meeting space. Our thanks to Bradford Wright who is doing the studies for three possible places. Thanks to all our made our “One Great Hour of Sharing” offering ($691) successful. Likewise we appreciate all who helped on the youth raffled and produced $194 for youth programming. Special thanks to Diane and Ed Detwiler-Zapp for donating the covered wagon tricycle that was the prize for the event.
Ktizo Church news and updates 
Hello all, I met a relator that is sending me updates on rentals and purchasable property. She said it would not accrue the church any bill. There might be another resource for us in our search. Do you want me to forward the e-mails that I get from her? Russell
